Detached garage or habitable outbuilding (30m²–60m²)
A detached structure less than 30m² may be exempt. Contact us to confirm.
Extension — less than 10m² (internal floor area)
Extension — over 10m² but less than 40m²
Extension — over 40m² but not exceeding 60m²
Extension — over 60m² but less than 100m²
Where an extension exceeds 100m² a formal fee quote is required.
Loft conversion — floor area less than 50m² or two rooms
Where a loft conversion is undertaken alongside an extension, the standard loft inspection fee applies.
Conversion of an existing garage into a habitable room
Any other alterations valued at less than £5,000 undertaken at the same time as an extension from one of the categories above
There is no site inspection fee for this category.
Other building work to a domestic residence not included in the above categories
Any work falling outside the scope of the above categories will require a formal fee quote. Please contact us.
